These are professional grade vacuums, for routine aquarium gravel cleaning and water changes.

The Super Syphon hooks up to any regular garden hose (not included), for quick and easy water changes. These durable gravel vacuums are made of 1/4 inch thick clear acrylic, with a powerful 2-1/2 inch diameter vacuum tube. Model sizes are for aquariums 18 inches tall up to 78 inches tall. With the Super  Syphon you can siphon the dirty aquarium water into buckets, down a toilet or drain, or run it outside to water your lawn. The larger the diameter garden hose you use, the faster the water flow through the syphon.

To order the correct size: Measure the height of your tank, and that is the number size of Super Syphon you should order. For example: Your aquarium measures 48”, then the you order the ‘Super Syphon 48 inch’. Please Note: For ease of use, and for Super Siphons to work properly, the actual length of the Super Syphon gravel vacuum is 2″ less than the aquarium height number assigned to it
