Non-floating models come with a removable, floating, magnet retrieval
string attached. Floating versions have a bulkier plastic housing
for the inner magnets (the half that goes in the aquarium) in order
to float the magnets. All models come with a storage case, instructions,
and a spacer block to keep the magnets safely separated.
Pads are replaceable and specialty pads are available (ALL ARE
ACRYLIC SAFE). Specialty pads include: the Super Algae
Cutter Pad (cuts fast through
stubborn algae), the new brown
Mighty Pad -
more aggresive than the traditional white pad, but still acrylic
safe, the Algae
Dozer Scraper Pad from Reef-Tech
(quickly scrapes off tough coralline algae), and the Custom
Scratch Removal Kit which works in tandem with
the Mighty Magnets to remove scratches underwater in a working
aquarium (includes 7 reusable abrasive pads with polish and instructions).
Other specialty products include: Plant Anchors (decorative weights
that attach to most plastic plants to keep them anchored to the
bottom of the aquarium), and Super Syphons (custom durable gravel
vacuums custom made for the professional).
