If you are buying pads for a pair of Mighty Magnets you’ve had for some time, and aren’t sure what model or style you have, look for the stamp mark on the ends of the magnets. You can also measure the size of your old pads and or magnets and compare them to the chart above. Be aware that Mighty Magnets pads are intentionally made a little larger than the actual magnets sizes. These slightly oversize pads help the inner magnets go around corners and act as a bumper for both the inner and outer magnets. Older Mighty Magnets (before 2002) may have slightly smaller pad sizes and can be special ordered by contacting us.

The spacer appliance allows added versatility and saves money by reducing the power of your MIGHTY MAGNETS so they can safely clean smaller aquariums than they were originally designed.

Each spacer appliance is easily removable and will stick to your MIGHTY MAGNETS to effectively reduce the magnets strength by adding 3/8" distance between the 2 magnets halves. For example, your MIGHTY MAGNETS are rated for 3/4” to 1-1/2" thick aquarium walls, and you now add one 3/8" spacer appliance, your MIGHTY MAGNETS will now work on aquariums with 3/8” to 1-1/8” thick tank walls. They can also be stacked to further reduce strength. Add a second spacer appliance and you can work on an aquarium with even thinner tank walls. These spacers will expand your MIGHTY MAGNETS range considerably. The spacer appliance is an economical way to add versatility to your MIGHTY MAGNETS tool kit.
